We started having problems with the French doors that lead out to our backyard several years ago. It finally got to the point that we could no longer shut and lock the door. My dogs could push the door open from the outside. One of them is a mini dachshund. I had called a couple companies to see about getting an estimate. One came back with a quote of almost $800. The other contacted me and said that he would not be able to come by. So late Friday afternoon I contacted South Texas Contractors and Roofing & spoke with Wilson. He asked me to send him some pictures. He sent Javier out to look at the door. I had expected to get an estimate and then schedule a time, but Javier fixed it on the spot and the cost was half of what the first estimate was. The door shuts and locks now and there’s no more draft.

This company exceeded my expectations! One call and I was in a time crunch as I needed work done at my farm house and I live out of town. We connected late Friday and early Saturday morning they arrived. I even changed scope of work (increased) and never missed a beat. Great communication and honest pricing. To start off, I called South Texas Contractors and Roofing for a bid on a commercial project. And this project was a tight timeline. Grand opening of our 2nd store in an entirely different state. So we knew we had to find someone reliable and honest to get the job done. We bid out the contract to multiple companies however upon meeting each of the other companies in person to get quoted for the job, we knew immediately wilson is the guy to get this job done. We ensured each of the other contractors understood the vision, with detailed plans. No one else could see what we saw when we needed to convert a warehouse, which was originally a data center, then turned into a roofing company, and now into a partial retail and partial warehouse. Now let me tell you, dream and imagine, communicate it with Wilson and his team, and deliver they shall! South Texas Contractors and Roofing - Wilson double checked everything, Made sure that our roof was in a new enough condition with enough insulation to keep the Texas heat out during the hot summer months. Him and his team Knocked down a bunch of interior walls for us, framed them up to make them look showroom ready. Ripped out all the dirty office carpet, polished all the concrete and made it look ready to sell some balloons! 10/10 recommend Wilson and his team, Javier, essentially his foreman, took care of our building like it was his! Taking ownership now a days is a rare quality to come by. The team ensured the water wasn't running when they were gone during the warmer days, and made sure to lock up the building at every entrance. And on the freezing days, Javier would go and turn on the water faucets to ensure none of the pipes burst. There were a bunch of change orders and add ons that we asked Wilson and his team to do, and without hesitation they did it. Installing pallet racks, changing light fixtures, his team even received the pallet racking for me, ensuring that everything was good to go. I wish I had more pictures of before and after, but I only have a few. Wilson beat our deadline, and finalized everything in time for us to start setting up retail shelving and start rolling in our merchandise on our tight timeline. And i forgot to mention when we first contacted Wilson to when he started work. We had asked him for a quote scoping everything, from dumps, to tear down, to lifting the drop ceiling height, he came back to quote us within a few days. After receiving quotes from the competition 2 weeks later, WITHOUT full scopes, we told wilson to adjust the quote a couple times to get into our budget area, which he was hyper responsive and got back to us 3rd week of December, 2024. We signed before Christmas Eve, and he started work right after Christmas Day immediately. Original project was fully complete as of last week in February 2025. 10/10 recommend Wilson, Javier, and the rest of the team for any project you have. Commercial, residential, they'll get it done. Here's to hoping our paths cross again some day soon! We'll be sure to call you when we need to build a home!

I was very pleased with the work of South Texas contractors. They hung Christmas lights for me. I was very pleased with that. They pointed out some problems on the roof that needed to be repaired. They were serious problems. They repaired that and with the lights and the roof repairs. I got a fair price and very happy with the work.

I had a great experience with this company as I had a leak in my ceiling and needed to have all the ductwork replaced. They did a wonderful job from when they came in and made an opening in my ceiling to when they finished the job and repaired the opening. The were very respectful to me and my property. As a female it's hard sometimes to have to deal with contractors but I felt very comfortable with this company. I would definitely use them again.
South Texas Contractors did a great job on our bath remodel! It was for an old house and was not an easy project, but Wilson and his team did all the plastering, tile and finish out on the bath and installed the shower glass! (Cat costs extra 🤣) Totally recommend this group. Good communication, right on budget, professional and helpful.

I called and asked for a quote on new floors I was able to email pictures and measurements and a sample pic of what I wanted my floors to look like. They were able to get a estimate to me next day and started the following week. They worked quickly and kept the noise to a minimum. I love the way my new floors turned out will definitely use them again

If you are like me, you check reviews on Contractors before hiring. I have been using South Texas Contractors and Roofing on a Condominium Complex since March 2023. Originally they were hired to replace the stucco on the exterior of the buildings. Since then, we have contracted South Texas Contractors for multiple jobs including roof leaks. Prior to hiring them, when it rained we had multiple roof leaks on the same units. Now those units no longer have leaks. With all the repairs and improvements we are doing through South Texas Contractors our 40 year old complex does not look like it is 40 years old anymore. There has not been anything they can not get fixed or replaced for us. Their pricing is very competitive. I highly recommend South Texas Contractors & Roofing as you see I gave them a 5 star.

I had a kitchen fire. Wilson, Jen, & Tim handled the entire insurance claim. The new kitchen is amazing and no trace of smoke damage.
Wilson, John and crew did a great job on super short notice. Came out less than 24 hours after speaking with them. After working 12 to 13 hours, they came back the next day for the finishing touches and clean up. Excellent customer service!! We're now ready to install our 12x24 foot pool on nice level ground.
Was referred to Mr. Wilson from a good friend. We had damaged floor from a water leak through the water heater at our store. They completely redid our flooring and even fixed the water leak at no additional charge. They worked very fast and completed the job beautifully! They will be our future “Go To” contractors from now on.

I needed the entry to my fence replaced and Wilson was amazing. He quickly responded to my concerns and inquiries. When the day came for the repair and replacement Manuel did a beautiful job!!!!! I really am amazed at how well this company listened to me when I explained what wanted built. It was like they drew up exactly what I had imagined. The fact that Wilson gave credit to all the instruments in his company, it said everything I needed to know about his character. I had 2 other contractors visit my project, and these gentleman were pushing these things cookie cutter designs onto my kitchen table like if didn't just tell them exactly what I wanted. I had the privilege of hiring this company to reconstruct the stucco on a complex of condominiums in San Antonio’s Medical Center. We got estimates from 3 local roofing companies and their price was the best. You never know what type of service you’ll receive these days, but this company did an amazing job. They’re highly skilled and professional, punctual, worked quickly and they cleaned up the mess as they worked. I will never hire another roofing company if this one is available. They surpassed our expectations across the board and we will never go anywhere else.

I recently bought an Air BNB and the roof needed a full replacement. Wilson, the owner, Jenn, the assistant & Tim, the contractor, worked with me via email & zoom since I live out of state. They took drone videos of how it looked before and after and wow the change was incredible! Their response time was always same day or next day and they made the process so smooth, they worked really hard to earn my trust. They did such a good job I’m going to have them start on the interior remodel next!

After adding an addition to the house many years ago the slabs shifted. Over years snd after leveling the chimney started to separate from house and stress cause some cracks in bricks. I called Wilson and the job he and his crew did was sheer beauty. They performed a miracle and now the house is in better shape then when we bought it. Wilson and crew are very professional, family friendly, diligent and reasonable. Highly and I mean highly recommend for any home improvement project or projects.

Wilson coordinated a wonderful team of painters for the exterior of our home. Communication was strong throughout the entire process. The project was started and completed in one week as promised, and would have been earlier had it not been for windy conditions and a day of storms. Tim & Joe (the painters) were always respectful, trustworthy, and precise about their work. So thankful for their diligence and bringing our home to life. Will definitely be hiring them again for another home project in the future!
